I like Governor Huckabee as well. Representative Duncan Hunter is a pretty good candidate as well. It was a hard choice for me, but those articles you cited really provide a good example of why I am supporting Senator Brownback for President.<BR/><BR/>He doesn't just talk ministering to the poor, the prisoner, and the downtrodden. He lives it. He is a compassionate man with sound policies. I appreciate how his faith informs his values. I also like his approach to explaining his pro-life stance. I think he has some good ideas on how to deal with Iraq.<BR/><BR/>I believe he is a solid candidate. I like Brownback so much<BR/><BR/>I finds it irinic that as a Catholic I have been hoping for the ideal Catholic to run for office that is not an embarassment to the faith and I end up supporting GOv Huckabee. That is what we should be aiming for. It is conservative but yet does not represent any of the bad things that sometime the extreme elements of Conservatism represents. I have to wonder if I think that Sen Brownback is to "Mr Smith goes to Washington" and is just too nice. What does that say about my outlook and if I have got to jaded.
