An Opportunity to Help

For the past few days I have sent out prayer requests on behalf of Erika Schwager who attends my church, and her family. Erika was hit by a fire truck on Monday going through the Westown Parkway & Valley West Drive iintersection in West Des Moines and was in critical condition at Mercy Medical Center since.

She went to be with Jesus early Sunday morning - here is a link to the Des Moines Register article.

• Her mother, Betty, who attends Valley Church – pray for comfort, strength and peace.
• Her father Scott and stepmother Inez who attend Christ Church at Fox Creek for strength, comfort and peace for them as well.

Valley Church High School Ministries

Here an opportunity for us to help - Erika also worked at Culver’s. The owners have decided to make Wednesday (11/29) & Thursday (11/30) – Erika’s Days where 100% of the profit at all of the Des Moines area stores will go to her family to help defray their expenses. So if you live in the Des Moines area, please take part in that by eating a meal or two or three at one of the Des Moines area Culver’s on Wednesday or Thursday. Thanks!
