Do Youth Only Need Jesus?

Interesting article. We need to share Jesus with young people, but that does not give us license to not meet practical needs of the kids we serve. Kara Powell who is interviewed in this article asked youthworkers at a training that Serve Our Youth Network hosted, "if a kid didn't know how to read, is it the church's job to help teach him to read?"

Absolutely, yes! (and then tell him about Jesus!)
