Reviling the Risen Christ?

Kevin McCullough wrote an article "Why Liberals Revile the Risen Christ" on Townhall.com. He contends:

Liberals like to embrace a compassionate but dead Jesus, they also revile the holy and risen Christ. Both of which are unfortunate.

So read the article, what say you? I'd like hear back. Is he being too harsh? Is he spot on? I prefer to distinguish, as Bill O'Reilly does, between liberals and secular progressives. I do believe you can be liberal (though I don't know why you'd want to be), and believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Secular progressives, however, I believe fit the bill in regards to what Mr. McCullough is saying.
