Wow! I hope Drew Tate plays next week.

Ok, the Hawkeyes made me nervous today. In year's past I would have been thrilled by an overtime win in the Carrier Dome at Syracuse, but not this year I was very underwhelmed (more like relieved) by the Hawks' 20-13 win after two overtimes because this is not the Orangemen of old.

I don't want to say that Drew Tate not playing is the sole reason this game was close though. Turnovers and other mistakes contributed. I do have to say that I was very impressed with Iowa's goalline stance in the 2 OT to grab the victory! Go D!

I'm looking forward the Iowa State game next week.
