Pleasant Hill... Here we come.

For all of you who have been following the saga of our house hunt... we found a house! Our planned close date is October 12. We are very excited! It is a three bedroom ranch with a walkout finished basement in Pleasant Hill. It will be closer to my office, and to Pella since I am down there frequently for the student ministries I'm leading on an interim basis. Fortunately it is close to the Hwy. 65 bypass so getting to Valley Church in West Des Moines won't be that big of a deal either.

We already have Kelvey enrolled at Pleasant Hill Elementary to take band and technology once a week to supplement our home education. We already have the kids in a home school tumbling program over there.

If anyone is looking for a home in the Des Moines Metro area, and you are in need for a buyer agent, one of my volunteers, is doing that part-time while he teaches at Des Moines Christian School. So I would like to recommend David Harris as a realtor. He did a great job for us. Also I mentioned before that one of my friends is a loan officer with Integrity Home Mortgage. I would also like to recommend Josh Hulling as a loan officer as well.
